Meet Dr. Evans

Dr. Evans graduated from Brigham Young University (1985) and then Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1989 and completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Utah Dental School the following year. His education also includes: Exchange Student at Victoria University in Manchester, England and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a National Honor Dental Society for students graduating in the top five per cent of dental class.

Dr. Evans is a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), the UDA (Utah Dental Association), AGD (Academy of General Dentistry) and has served as a board member and past president of the SLDDS (Salt Lake District Dental Society). Dr. Evans was a member of the Medical/Dental Staff for Team USA in the 2002 Winter Olympics. He is an annual participant in the “Give Kids a Smile” program and clinical faculty member at the University of Utah Dental School, where he works with dental students and dental residents in clinical settings. Dr. Evans is a fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy (an international honorary dental society) and recently received fellowship in the ICD (International College of Dentists).

In private practice for more than 25 years, Dr. Evans is always upgrading his dental techniques and expanding his knowledge to provide the best care for his patients. His practice utilizes lasers (Biolase) and CAD/ CAM (CEREC) and digital radiography. These services provide the best in patient comfort, safety and convenience.

Dr. Evans possesses a good old fashioned love of career and caring for people. As his patients will attest, he is a very kind and compassionate dentist.
